The article provides information on a science-based fitness protocol called the integrated workout, which doctors can prescribe to help their patients develop health, fitness and fat loss. It says that prescribing the integrated workout involves selecting four exercises that work big muscle groups. The author adds that integrated workout combines resistance training and the best of cardiovascular exercise. The benefits of using smart exercise protocols and the different types of physical exercises suitable for an integrated workout are also discussed.
