ABSTRACT
The article offers the authors' insights regarding the reinforced concrete construction. The authors state that building construction and design tolerance of both contractors and design engineers are important for preventing constructability congestion. They explore on the application and identification of American Concrete Institute (ACI) and Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI) standards. They also discuss the history of reinforced concrete structures which shows its evolution.
