ABSTRACT
The article discusses the political issued faced by Māori as of 2011 in New Zealand. It notes that the government has launched racist attacks on various segments of the Māori community as part of its ongoing agenda to maintain Pākehā hegemony. Furthermore, it mentions that Maori has withstand the onslaught and stand firm in the face of determined efforts to undermine their leadership.
