ABSTRACT
The article presents a discussion of efforts which rebel forces from the organization Free Libya are making in the Libyan oil refinery town of Brega, to keep military forces loyal to Libya's leader, Muammar Gaddafi, from overtaking the town. An overview of civil war which is happening in Libya in 2011 as a result of efforts to remove Gadaffi from power, is presented.
