ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the educational technology initiatives of the Nevada Department of Education which offer an emphasis on collaboration and simplicity to assist the integration of technology across school districts. It says that a revised technology plan has been developed by Nevada through its collaboration with the International Society for Technology in Education and use of Virginia as its model. It mentions that three school districts join together for the enforcement of affordable Promothean interactive whiteboards through sharing the professional development in the initiative. It also presents a table which shows the allocated federal funds to several educational programs of Nevada including Stabilization Education State Grants, Special Education Grants, and State Assessments.
