The article offers information on the debate related to the usage of fluoride in public drinking water in the U.S. It mentions that according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) report, 60 percent of the U.S. population get fluoridated drinking water from their taps. It states that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced to lower the level of fluoride level from 1.2 milligrams per liter to 0.7 for municipal water.
