ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the violence against women in Iraq. It asserts that there is a continued violence against Iraqi women because of several factors including social dislocation, economic hardship, and endemic corruption. It is said that they are physically, sexually, verbally, and psychologically abused by occupation soldiers, Iraqi security forces, criminal gangs, and strangers. It is also claimed by international organizations that the violence is one of the least studied aspects of the country's post-invasion.
