ABSTRACT
The article presents a testimony before the Committee on Finance in the U.S. Senate on the preliminary information on chosen foreign practices. It says that the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) and foreign tax administrators met issues on the provisions of their laws, including the support given to taxpayers in preparing and filing returns. It adds that the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) reviewed documents and talked with foreign tax administrators regarding the issue.
