ABSTRACT
The author talks about the history of two photographs that featured teddy bears and answers inquiries from readers about their teddies. The first photograph was found in "The Three Bear" book which showed a small stuffed, but unjointed teddy-bear like. The second photograph was taken on October 27, 1907 which was the 50th birthday of then U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt. Maxim Kartashev from Moscow, Russia inquired about the age and value of a teddy bear that has been in his family for almost a century.
