ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the reports over the issue of prisoner exchange between Palestine and Israel. According to an unnamed Egyptian source, deputy head Moussa Abu Marzouk of Hamas' political bureau will be arriving in Cairo, Egypt to discuss the issue with a leading Hamas member. However, officials from Israel and Palestine said that there was no breakthrough on the issue of releasing Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit in exchange for thousand Palestinian prisoners in Israel.
