The author discusses the importance for pharmaceutical companies to create a marketing strategy for their first-in-class brands in the U.S. He cites the need for pharmaceutical companies to create an awareness program about the growing or little-recognize disease for the people to acknowledge the importance of medication in the particular illness. Furthermore, the author recommends the industry to differentiate their products to grab the people's attention.
