ABSTRACT
The article discusses how the Delft Blue farming facility in Cambridge, Ontario is generating energy from cow manure and examines whether consumer products in Canada need low-carbon labelling. According to the author, Delft Blue has taken several steps to lower the environmental impacts of beef production and improve the ethical image of its operations. The author observes that the specific promotion of the low-carbon nature of retail products in Canada is largely untested.
