ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the statement of "An Nahar's" columnist Randa Haidar on the bomb attack of the French contingent serving with the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). She says that the accusation of Israeli that Hizbulla was the head of the bomb attack was part of a diplomatic war against the Iranian-backed military group. She adds that the local and international fears of potential deterioration in south Lebanon will be enhanced due to the Sidon bombing.
