ABSTRACT
The article reports on the fast sale performance of weight loss drugs in the U.S. It cites the result of the survey conducted by the market research and consulting firm Marketdata Enterprises, which reveals that weight loss supplements such as conjugated linoleic acid, guarana seed powder, and polyglucusamine are highly profitable. However, medicine professor Robert Kushner of the Northwestern University stresses that no dietary supplements have shown to be effective. INSET: EN's Guide to 5 Top Weight Loss Supplements.
