The article focuses on the significance of developing a compensation package that meets the need of chief executive officers (CEO) and credit union business goals. It notes that proper CEO compensation is essential in retaining CEOs due to its scarcity in the job market. It mentions several suggestions in developing CEO compensation plans which include improvement of benefits, development of a new retirement plan, and establishment of risk profile of each benefit.
