The article reports that third-party logistics (3PLs) providers are reinventing to allow themselves to thrive in an uncertain transportation market, as noted by Rick Blasgen, the president and chief executive officer of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP). At CSCMP's Annual Global Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he spoke of the growth opportunities in warehousing. Shipper's flexibility to scale up or down is paying off for Denmark's Damco.
