ABSTRACT
The article presents a discussion on efforts and initiatives taken up by U.S. president Barack Obama, on job creation. The discussed topics include auto industry bailout 2008-09, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009, extensions of unemployment insurance benefits 2009-10, HIRE Act 2010, and Education Jobs Act and Medicaid Assistance Act 2010. Two corrections related to articles published in the October 5, and October 6, 2011 issues, respectively, are also presented.
