ABSTRACT
The article shares the approach of third-party logistics providers towards managing cold storage supply chains. The best practice for Witte Bros. Exchange Inc. is paying attention to carrier selection and maintaining relationships. Emphasis is given on the need for good business practices to follow standard operating procedures to protect temperature-sensitive food products and to conduct regular audits. Another vital measure is to ensure certification of cold storage facilities and equipment.
