ABSTRACT
The article reports on an offer by Toshiba Corporation's Westinghouse to take an ownership stake in Lithuania's new reactor project. The condition to the offer was Lithuania's decision to build Westinghouse's flagship AP1000 reactor. The other companies that have submitted bids to replace the Visaginas plant include Hitachi-GE Nuclear Energy (HGNE).
