ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's views on the need to build skills in learners and researchers so that they do not have full trust in the results they get from web search engines. According to the author, learners and researchers should know who or what chooses to promote the links on the pages of search results. He adds that every searcher should know who creates spam pages and how they influence search results.
