ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the economic developments on the exchange rates in Slovenia. It says that the euro has weakened in late 2010 and early 2011 due to the consequence of the renewed significant increase in market concerns over the sovereign debt problems of the Eurozone. It mentions that the plan of the European Central Bank during its January 2011 policy meeting on the increase of its interest rate has boosted the euro.
