During the last few decades researchers have developed greater interest in employees' job related behaviors as recognized field of scholarly study. This study attempts to examine the impact of job involvement on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and in-role job performance of employees working in banking sector of Pakistan. The data were collected from 112 subjects using the questionnaire forms and then Microsoft Excel and SPSS 16 was used for data analysis. The findings of the study revealed that job involvement was positively correlated with both organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and in-role job performance but the relative impact of job involvement on OCB is stronger than on in-role job performance. The study results are discussed together with the implications, strengths and limitations. Some suggestions for future research are also made.
