ABSTRACT
The article offers information on various surveys involving solo school librarians in the U.S. One of these surveys is the School Libraries Count! survey initiated by the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) with questions focusing on staffing, expenditures, and staff activities. A survey on the funding of school libraries was conducted by Lesley Farmer in 2009-2010. Meanwhile, a Schools and Staffing Survey was conducted by the National Center for Education Statistics.
