The article discusses a study regarding the role of in vitro fertilization (IVF) in overweight and obese women. According to researchers in Australia, weight loss prior to in vitro fertilization (IVF) can lead to higher pregnancy rates. They also proved that female obesity is linked to lower natural conception and a higher incidence of maternal and infant complications, including miscarriage, hypertension, gestational diabetes, caesarean birth, high infant birth weight, and infant mortality.
