ABSTRACT
The article reports on the influx of both Brazilian immigrants and Americans to Brazil in October 2011. The increase is attributed to low unemployment rate of six percent in the U.S. and increased earnings in Brazil. In response, U.S. President Barack Obama on September 8 passed an economic stimulus plan that will offer more summer jobs, invest in local communities for more teachers and expanded healthcare, and provide tax credits to those unemployed for a period of six months or more.
