ABSTRACT
The article discusses an October 25, 2011 debate in the British House of Commons about sex and relationship education. The debate was introduced by Member of Parliament (MP) Andrea Leadsom, who argued that inappropriate sex education material was being used in primary schools. She called on the government to ensure the use of age-appropriate sex education materials. Minister of State, Department for Education Nick Gibb announced that there would be no change to current sex education laws.
