ABSTRACT
The article discusses on the challenges faced by renewable energy companies globally. It states that a large amount of money has been poured in the development of infrastructure and technologies to turn the power of wind, rivers and the sun into usable energy. It mentions that the companies did not find it easy to deliver value for shareholders. It states that firms struggle to sell the energy produced at competitive prices, and expects subsidies in Europe and tax credits in U.S.
