ABSTRACT
The article presents an outlook for the exchange rates in Greece from 2010-2016. It notes that the euro is projected to decline around USD1.25 in March/April 2012 as driven by several factors including the declining activity in the Eurozone and tighter credit conditions. The European Central Bank (ECB) has responded to the weakened economic performance of Eurozone by initiating cuts on interest rates from 1.50% to 1.25% in November 2011 and further cuts are expected in the first half of 2012.
