ABSTRACT
The article discusses the accuracy of online profiles of people on social networks in determining in personalities and capabilities of an individual through employers. It is stated that a profile is a public profile meant for social interaction on social media can serve as an extended resume but they are not online resumes. It is noted that a candidate's online posts should not be teh basis for his/her hiring for a job.
