ABSTRACT
The article presents information on a report from Vegetarian Resource Group Inc. according to which number of vegetarians has increased during 2011 and about five percent of population has never tasted meat, seafood, and poultry. It informs that the vegetarian food retail market has generated around 1.6 billion U.S. dollars in sales during 2011. It also reports that about six percent of Americans eat a vegetarian meal once a week.
