The article provides information on the three-day fund-raising ride of the Chequers Inn and WaverleyTBS for Kent Cancer Trust (KCT) in 2011. It mentions that the all of the funds being raised through fund-raising and sponsorship can be directly donated to KCT because cyclists are paying their own journey costs. According to Tracey Leaver of Chequers, the selected the charity because one of their regulars is an oncologist and a KCT trustee.
