ABSTRACT
The article points out why the 2003 tax cuts made by former U.S. George W. Bush's administration is not an excuse which U.S. President Barack Obama could use to impose higher taxes on wealthy Americans nor to use as a reason for a weak economy. It says that the Bush tax cuts actually increased real gross domestic product (GDP) growth until 2007, increased revenues and reduced budget deficits. It adds that these cuts also doubled the income growth rate of the bottom 75% of America's population.
