The article focuses on table game yield management (TGYM) in the casino industry in the U.S. It states that TGYM reduces pit profitability to three variables including the mix of games available at the casino, games that are open, and the betting limit for each game. It discusses the main obstacles to TGYM such as data gathering and translating data to recommendations.
