The article presents information on a notice of proposed rulemaking issued by the U.S. Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy of the U.S. Department of Energy regarding its proposal to update its test procedures related to the showerheads, faucets, water closets and the urinals. Information on a public meeting to be held in Washington D.C. on July 24, 2012 is presented. Comments are being solicited by August 13, 2012.
