The article features Matthew Reed, the newly appointed chief executive officer of the Children's Society. From September 2010 to February 2012, Reed has served on the board of trustees of Children's Society. He also contributed to the development of the charity's strategy. Prior to joining the Children's Society, Reed was the chief executive officer of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Several accomplishments of the Children's Society are highlighted.
