ABSTRACT
The article discusses the author's views on the expanded opportunities for credit unions (CUs) when using social media strategies for marketing, customer service, and crisis communications. He suggests not to limit the metrics or performance indicators to social media-related characteristics to determine success or failures. The author believes that social media fit best with a CUs goals with favorable member support response, member satisfaction, and word of mouth resonation. INSET: Resources.
