ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's insights regarding the transition of public sector employees in the private sector in Australia. The author states that the transition affects both the organisations and individuals involved, which indicate the need for both groups to adapt accordingly to the trend. He says that the changes to the annual labour expense cap lead to increased redundancies and job cuts in the public sector.
