ABSTRACT
The article presents information on Esperanza Spalding, a bass player and singer. Spalding started playing bass at the age of 15 and bought her first electric bass July 2007 at the Montreal Jazz Festival. She has recently released her new jazz album "Radio Music Society," which explores how improvisational music can borrow from radio music.
