ABSTRACT
The article offers information on three diet plans: the alkaline diet, the human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) diet, and the Paleo diet, to promote rapid weight loss. The alkaline diet supports eating foods that have alkalizing properties. The hCG diet in the form of drops, pills or injections suppress hunger and triggers the body's use of fat. The Paleo diet proposes a higher amount of animal protein, such as lean meat and seafood, and lower amounts of total carbohydrates.
