ABSTRACT
The article discusses the social media's relationship with copyright law, illustrating by considering a particular example of social media website Pinterest. It informs that Pinterest is a social media website which collects photographs related to several fields from its users. It informs about the controversy in 2012 wherein the people pin photographs from other resources were held by the website without asking permission of the owners.
