ABSTRACT
The article presents the findings of a study from the Carnegie Institution for Science which revealed that the potential of wind power to meet all of the world's energy demands. A press release from the institution noted that with the help of airbome wind turbines, the planet would be able to generate more power compared with ground- and ocean-based units alone. It indicated that high-altitude wind power could have a massive effect on the world's renewable energy needs.
