ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the increasing demand of energy across the globe. It informs that the energy demand would remain flat for those countries which come under consideration of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) but the energy demand for non OECD will increase by about 60 percent. It reports that oil and natural gas will be the two energy sources which will fulfill 60 percent of global demand by the year 2040.
