ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the important role of responsible gun owners in leading the fight to end rampage shootings, amidst calls for stricter gun control in the U.S. as of February 2013. He also mentions the Newtown, Connecticut shootings on December 14, 2012, which killed 26 people. He advises gun owners to control their own guns, sequester ammunition, know where their guns are, and never lose custody. He also highlights the debate about mental illness.
