ABSTRACT
The article explores the increasing interest in a return to single-sex education in the U.S. in an updated form. It notes that parents who prefer single-sex education for their children turn to private educational institutes, such as the Holton-Arms School and Landon Schools. It cites benefits offered by single-sex education, including better academic performance, less social stress to cope with and being more open to pursue interests.
