ABSTRACT
The article reports that U.S. employees are saving, but are not confident of retiring, as revealed by statistics in December 2012. According to Fidelity Investments, the largest 401(k) provider in the U.S., the average 401(k) balance had hit the highest level in more than 12 years of $75,900 based on the analysis of 12 million accounts of 20,000 companies. Data from Pew Research Center shows that employees have low confidence in terms of their savings and retirement.
