ABSTRACT
The article provides suggestions to school nurses new at teaching on teaching effective personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) sessions. It suggests how writing fiction could be used during PSHE lessons. The ideas suggested are – encourage students to write a fictional diary entry, provide students with the start and middle of a story and then ask them to write the ending with their own imagination, or ask children to write a fictional recipe.
