ABSTRACT
The article discusses a study which found out that retention of patients with HIV in Rwanda was improved by the community-based accompaniment added to the clinic-based program. According to Doctor Molly Franke, high rates of retention and viral load suppression are achievable among countries with limited resources. He adds that individual health outcomes tend to improve through the use of antiretroviral therapy (ART) models that includes community-based accompaniment.
