The article focuses on the technological innovations in renewable energy which influences the use of hydrogen gas generators at scientific laboratories in the U.S. The use of Proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells and hydrogen generations in various renewable energy initiatives is highlighted. An outlook on the use of PEM electrolyzers to power fuel cell vehicles is provided.
