ABSTRACT
The article deals with possible theoretical and meth-odological application of the socio-economic ideas of Max Weber, the classic of the economic sociology. Applying the principle of dichotomy dividing into for-mal and material rationality the author studies premis-es and conditions of the rational capitalism formation in Russia.
