The article discusses the final regulation on the safety zone involved in Coast Guard exercise area in Hood Canal, Washington by the U.S. Coast Guard. It says that the final rule will ensure the safety of the maritime public during their exercises which includes pyrotechnics and smoke machines. It adds that under the new rule person or vessel is prohibited to enter in the safety zone unless during the training unless authorized by the Captain of the Port (COTP) to avoid any necessary incident.
